Automation of power distribution network switches

Execution Background

Installing modems on smart switches within the electrical grid and establishing a two-way communication link between the SCADA system and smart distribution network equipment is one of the solutions proposed by Tayf Pardazan Espadana for electricity distribution companies. This solution is scalable and customizable for all energy distributors, including water and wastewater companies, gas companies, and various industries.
Currently, over 1,500 locations across the country have been equipped with this solution using the company’s LTE modems.

Whether the equipment in question is for automating a recloser, section switch, sectionalizer, or any other smart device, it only needs to support standard automation protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, IEC 60870-5-104, etc., provided that the same protocol is available in your SCADA system.
Implementation Process
In the first step, the company will conduct a field study and assessment of the project, followed by submitting a technical proposal for automation. Upon approval by the client, the company can participate as a consultant, supplier, or operator to facilitate the setup and operation of the project.
